Thanks again to the generosity of WaterStone Bank, Center Street Park has two free public ice rinks during the winter months. In addition, volunteers lend free skates for everyone to use thanks to donations from the Pettit National Ice Center and private individuals.
Over the course of last few winters, this rink quickly became a neighborhood institution. We look forward to creating a new tradition at Center Street Park thanks to our incredible funders and many volunteers...most notably our dedicated team of Center Street Hosers and warming house volunteers!
2016-2017 Hours of Operation (may vary based on weather conditions)
***DUE TO THE WARM WEATHER THE RINKS WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE***.
Since 2013, Friends of Center Street Park has hosted annual spring cleanups during which volunteers work to beautify Center Street Park. Activities include picking up litter, painting projects, planting flower gardens, mulching, and installing new picnic benches.
We thank all our volunteers for their hard work in improving our neighborhood park! We also want to give a special thank you to the City of Milwaukee's Community Improvement Project (CIP) for funding this past year's Cleanup.
We look forward to seeing everyone in early 2016 when we start planning for next year's Spring Cleanup! Interested in helping out? Click on the Volunteer link below!
